Model: YSB8 HP: 8 RPM: 3200 Engine Type: water cooled, single-cylinder Fuel Type: Diesel Year: 1977
The Yanmar YSB8 is a 4-cycle, water-cooled, single-cylinder diesel engine with a displacement of 331cc. It produces 8 horsepower at 3200RPM and has a max torque of 2.0 Kgm at 2400 RPM. The engine is known for its horizontal design, which allows for under-floor installation and a lower center of gravity. This engine would be ideal for a small yacht and is in good running order.
The Lister JP616 is a six-cylinder, 70 bhp diesel engine, part of the Lister JP/JK/JS series. These engines are known for their durability, reliability and are true work horses particularly in industrial applications. They are also used in agriculture and farming, as well as industrial generators. This one has been marinised and came out of an old wooden houseboat which is sadly no longer with us however the engine survived, in fully working condition and is being sold as seen along with the gear box and dash, I believe this engine would be perfect for somebody who is building there own houseboat and would happily push along something like a Humber keel.
This Ford has been marinised by Bowman and is a powerful six-cylinder, which is being sold as seen without the gear box, it’s a bit of a project and hasn’t run for some time but would still make a great engine for someone building there own houseboat or restoring a barge.
